Buildings that respond to social and environment need

Helping to meet the rapidly growing demand for buildings of all types in Africa, MASS Design Group has set the standard for architecture that meets the social and environmental needs of the local community. MASS uses a range of methods to achieve greater outcomes including a mission-led building design process to ensure that buildings enhance the experience of their occupants, who are consulted with throughout the process, whether improving healing rates in hospitals or better education in schools.

So What?

MASS creates beautiful buildings from local materials with very low embedded carbon. Their seventeen projects completed by March 2018 have saved 11,300 tonnes of embodied CO2e and have delivered significant health and educational impacts.
