The Flemish Construction Confederation has launched an online sharing platform for construction companies in order to align more closely with the principles of a circular economy.

Construction

Werflink, launched in collaboration with construction company BESIX, Circular Flanders and FLOOW2, means construction firms within Belgium, large and small, can share equipment, materials and freight space between them, which should provide financial, environmental and social benefits.

Through sharing resources, companies save on costs of ordering new materials and equipment, and use these more efficiently, reducing their environmental impact. Local connections and networks are also made which can spur further collaboration and innovation.
