In February 2017 India launched 104 satellites in one go, beating the previous Russian record of 37. The payload consisted of one large satellite and 103 nano-satellites. India launched a record 104 satellites in a single flight . A new world record .

So what?

Not only is this the  largest number of satellites launched in one go, it's also the first time a launch was dedicated to nano-satellites. Space research is a priority for the Indian government, most of the nano-satellites launched in Feb were for private sector customers, an astonishing 96 of the 103 were US customers.
