Beginning September 10th at some Tescos in the UK, with Norway up next, Danish brewing megabrand Carlsberg will be replacing plastic can-holding rings with recyclable glue.  According to Carlsberg, the glue can be recycled alongside cans and could reduce plastic by up to 76%.  The glue is said to “snap” when cans are pulled apart and is designed to withstand the trials of transportation, heating, and cooling.
